WOW! An American company that makes and markets an excellent product and backs it up with solid customer support. What a concept!
Please know I got my Navionics Gold chip for the Great Lakes, which I purchased in error, exchanged for the right one, and my free Fish 'N Chip within a week after sending it UPS per your instructions.
I couldn't be happier. And this further supports all my dealings with Navionics in the last 10 years. Great company staffed by great people. I will go out of my way to purchase products that use Navionics software because of these experiences.

"The integrity of this company for resolving issues and their knowledge make them one of the leaders in lake map chips."
We have a couple handheld Lowrance GPS units and did some research on available maps and made calls to Navionics. Their great technical support people answered all my questions and assisted us in making correct mapping decisions. Our decision was easy to go with the Navionics HotMaps Premium Lake Map cards since they offer the most number of lakes for the price with many in High-Definition on select lakes and even offer you discounts for upgrades or trade-ins later. Once we made our purchase and put the HotMap card into use, I had a couple concerns and more questions. Not only were my concerns addressed and met quickly, but tech support also assisted me in updating the software on our GPS unit. The integrity of this company for resolving issues and their knowledge make them one of the leaders in lake map chips. We could hardly wait to hit the water this spring to make a couple short trips to area lakes familiarizing ourselves with the HotMaps.
Our 1st big trip was to Kentucky Lake and prior to leaving home I scrolled through the HotMap in areas we would fish saving way points on humps, breaks and where creek channels intersect. Once on the lake we boated directly to these spots while following the secondary river channel and caught fish.
Prior to our Rend Lake tournament, I saved way points for submerged foundations, humps, sharp breaking points and other underwater structures shown on this HotMap card. Again, we not only went right to these spots during a foggy tournament morning, but our GPS and HotMap display helped us maneuver safely through bridge openings while following the channel and once to our spot, we had our limit shortly after the fog lifted.
These maps are so accurate and detailed you can locate slight changes in bottom and other structures in a lake. Finding fish and fish holding spots is the goal of most anglers and as fishing enthusiasts we now are not limited to spots we know about but have a virtual guide on unfamiliar lakes.
As serious anglers the superior underwater structure detail of the Navionics HotMaps make them a great choice and easiest to use, just plug it in and it is ready to use.

I run a charter boat (Stripermania) in our area and we do quite a few trips per season and this chip "Fish'N Chip", is the advantage I could use!
Gary Caputi and Terry Sullivan have fished aboard my boat and have shown me the awesome chart "Fish 'N Chip" for our local waters. I was able to use it 2 times and the ability to get on certain structure is amazing! We used it for Stripers and Tuna and had great fishing because I could find the high and low spots with ease!

"He is one satisfied and excited customer and I wanted to let you know. We've never had someone pull up on us while we were fishing before just to show us his equipment."
We were fishing a ledge out in the middle of a very wide creek mouth. A fella came flying in and set down about 50 yards from us. I immediately hooked up with a good 4 lb. fish. About 5 minutes later, here comes the guy, trolling motor on high. We figured he was practicing for a tournament and wanted to find out what we were catching them on. He excitedly said, "I just got a new Navionics chip and I wanted to show you all what you are fishing. "We both laughed and pointed to our Navionics decal on the boat. He asked which one we were using and we said the HotMaps Premium. He asked me to get over in his boat and look at his HotMaps Platinum with 3D. I explained that our unit wouldn't support the 3D is the reason we had the Premium but that we saw basically the same thing he did. Boy was I wrong! I got in his boat and was amazed. He said he couldn't stop and fish for running all over the lake to see what he's been missing all these years. He was so excited about it. His name was Eddie and he said he's going straight home and order another one for his front unit. He is one satisfied and excited customer and I wanted to let you know! We've never had someone pull up on us while we're fishing before just to show us his equipment!

Cool stuff!
“I’ve made 6 trips over to Pickwick Lake the past month and caught fish every time on places I’ve never been to and found via studying the HotMaps Premium Paper Map and then using the Navionics chip to find them on the lake. Cool stuff!”

"I study your Fish'N Chip charts to figure out where to fish. It has been instrumental in catching these big fish."
We ran the fifty miles out of Everett in my boat to get it in the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It hit a big sardine and was a very light biter. It was challenging getting it in the boat!

"I would not hesitate to recommend the Navionics brand to anyone who ventures to sea, whether it be local cruising, fishing or full on racing."
Throughout the race, "The Artemis Transat", I used Raymarine hardware in conjunction with Navionics Gold Charts. Having previously used Navionics, I made the decision to go with Navionics for complete piece of mind. Navionics Gold Charts provide excellent clarity and everything I needed for my charting requirements in the race. I particularly liked the Navionics USB card readers as well, which made changing chart cards very easy and efficient.

"The Spot I fished all day the third day was a spot I found first with Navionics! It payed off big time - $46,000 and Second place!"
I was trolling the 12 and 17 foot contour lines provided by my Navionics Charts. These contour lines turned out to be the prominent breaks where the fish were holding. Whenever I got away from the lines, my catch rate dropped dramatically. Navionics kept me on the fish when I was trolling.
In the river, I would look for spots first on my Navionics Chart, then I would fish them. The key was to locate steep original river breaks with rock on the bank and hard bottoms. I placed 2nd in the PWT!

With a shortened prefish time, I was able to study the Navionics map on my GPS to help locate the fish. Also, once a spot was located, I was able to
replicate by utilizing the mapping technology.

TO ME IT WAS WORTH A $100,000.00 DOLLARS because I do not believe I would have found the tournament winning spot without it."
"I have to say that my navionics HotMaps Premium South-4 chip played a major role in my record setting win on Lake Falcon, Texas. It enabled me to find numerous submerged points and humps in a timely fashion during my practice period. When you only have a little over two days to search a 60,000 acre lake, Navionics is a valuable tool. I set the B.A.S.S. record using Navionics (140# bag)!!"

"In this day and age of 'buy and bye-bye' it is refreshing to deal with a company whose people care!"
I recently purchased a Lowrance LCX 25-C at Cabelas. Since then, I have been shopping for mapping software at an economical price. Several times I have contacted Navionics customer service, both in e-mails and by phone, to ask if various softwares were applicable to my unit. Each time I was given time, consideration and very good advice. Now, I know what I am looking for, just waiting for a good deal. I wish I knew how to tell this to the higher-ups, but maybe you can forward this. THANKS!

"I love the chips Navionics produces"
I used Navionics while I was competing in all of my tournaments this past summer. They showed me so much more structure than I knew was actually available to fish. The Navionics chip was a big key to my success last year. I would locate deep structure that no one even knew was there. Your product lead me to a second place finish in the Bassmaster Elite Series on Lake Erie! I am very pleased with the quality and fish catching abilities this product gives to any angler.

"Thanks Navionics for great customer service!"
I was having a problem with my Navionics Chip running in my plotter. I emailed Navionics service. They wrote me the next day asking me to fax my purchase receipt. I did and they immediately emailed a return authorization number for me to use in sending my chip for them to test. I overnighted the chip, and the next day received a phone call from Navionics. They said my chip had a large photo file downloaded onto it. Somehow the data on the chip had been corrupted. It had to have been something I had done, but I told them I had no idea how. They let me know that they are sending me a new chip via overnight shipping at no cost to me! I never imagined getting something like this resolved so promptly and so courteously.

"I will be sure to pass along to my customers and others the fine treatment and service I received from Navionics."
Unfortunately my chart malfunctioned which necessitated me sending the chart back to Navionics in Massachusetts. The two staff members I dealt with were very helpful and knowledgeable. They dealt with my problem very expeditiously and exchanged my chart free of charge.
