Troubleshooting Navionics Charts in Raymarine RC400 & 435 Plotters

Steps to bring up the software version of the unit

1. Software versions are viewed in the lower right hand corner when the unit is first powered on. Make sure the unit has the most up-to-date software version (to verify what this is visit www.raymarine.com. If your unit requires a software update, please do not use the Navionics chart to download the software or have the Navionics chip inside the unit when the software is being updated as this will corrupt the Navionics chart and render the card useless.
2. Press and continue to hold the unit’s ENTER key, while holding the ENTER key, press and release the POWER key until the TEST MODE screen appears – if the unit starts up normally, the ENTER key was not held long enough. Power off the unit and repeat.
3. The top line of the TEST MODE screen reads similar to as follows:
   a. RC435 / 430
