Nextfour adds Navionics cartography to the Q Experience

Compatibility offers thousands more boaters Navionics charts and features

Navionics®, S.r.l. a Socio Unico, a Garmin® company, today announced that Nextfour, a Finnish product development company serving a variety of technology market segments, has chosen Navionics as their cartography provider. Nextfour develops white label marine hardware systems that are installed on boats sold throughout Europe.

“We are very happy to see more boat owners able to access valuable Navionics cartography through our new compatibility with Nextfour devices,” said Marcello Albanese, Navionics director of sales and business development.

”Navionics cartography integration is an important achievement in our product roadmap to enhance the boating experience,” said Johan Wessberg, Nextfour CTO. ”Navionics fresh and feature-rich cartography perfectly suits our offering, and it allows us to publish exciting new navigation features.”

Nextfour’s white-label marine hardware is factory-installed on Yamarin, Cross, and Buster boats, among others, under the brand names Yamarin Q, Cross Q, Buster Q, Grand Q, Askeladden C-Command, Vita Q, and Evoy Q.

This new collaboration currently gives customers access to Navionics cartography and select features, with others expected to be supported through future software updates.
