Navionics Pro Spotlight: Scott Walcott, Professional Walleye Angler

Scott Walcott developed a love of fishing and boating on the shores of Lake Victoria in Kenya, where he spent the first decade of life. Upon returning to Canada with his family, he continued to fish as often as possible. He bought his first boat in 1996 to use as a commuter vessel to work at a resort on the opposite side of West Lake, and always fished to and from work. While in college, Scott bought a minority partnership in West Lake Willows Resort, which he and his wife are now the sole owners and operators of today. He started guiding professionally in 2005, helping his clients hook up famous Bay of Quinte walleye, as well as world class salmon and trout on Lake Ontario. Also a tournament fisherman, Scott has finished in the top 4 at the Quinte Walleye Open three times in the last four years, and placed second in the Quinte Series Walleye Tournament in the Spring of 2013. Scott has appeared as a special guest on various fishing shows such as Real Fishing with Bob Izumi and Sportsman 360 TV, and has conducted seminars on the main stage at the Toronto Sportsman Show. He is also co-hosts Hooked for Life fishing radio show.
