Subscriptions
As of Oct. 25, 2023, Navionics® MFD card
subscriptions renew automatically.
This changes how cards are activated
and renewals are managed.
WHAT CHANGES?
• Renewals of both new and existing subscriptions will be linked to the end user’s account. They will be automatically renewed every year.
• End users will be able to stop automatic renewal at any time in the My Account section.
• A single account won’t be able to activate more than 1 subscription of the same product.
Dealer and distributor accounts won’t be able to:
• Activate or renew subscriptions on a customer’s behalf
• Activate a Navionics®+ Updates card on a customer’s behalf
• Renew a card’s subscriptions through Chart Installer
• Transfer ownership
• Use the swap renewing procedure
One email address can’t be used to register more than 1 product with the same part number.
It will still be possible to:
• Sell Navionics+ Update cards for the end user to program
• Sell and program Navionics+ Update cards but not activate them
• Program and refresh blank cards
• Refresh Navionics+ and Platinum+ preprogrammed cards
• Download premium content for Platinum+ preprogrammed cards
• Download daily updates on customers’ cards with active subscription
