Free fishing days are offered by most states during National Fishing and Boating week! That means anglers are allowed to fish on public bodies of water without a fishing license! Refer to the list below so you can plan your free fishing day in your state. If you already have a license, it’s the perfect opportunity to show a friend what they’re missing and take them out on the water; you may just create a new fishing partner for yourself!
Be sure to take advantage of the amazing detail of Navionics SonarChart 1 ft HD bathymetry map as we have an expansive database of over 18,000 1 ft HD lakes in the US and Canada and we’ve recently added hundreds of new lakes too! You’ll enjoy the fishing experience even more using your plotter with a Navionics+ chart card that provides marine and lake charts with Nautical Chart, SonarChart and Community Edits or with a HotMaps Platinum card that provides lake maps with exclusive Satellite Overlay, 3D View and Panoramic Pictures in addition to the Navionics+ chart card features.
