Massarosa, Italy/Sep. 26, 2019 – Navionics®, S.r.l. a Socio Unico, a Garmin® company, today announced that LXNAV, a specialty hardware manufacturer, has added Navionics compatibility to two of their marine GPS devices.

The E500 and E700 are intelligent, multifunctional marine instruments that offer chartplotter functionality, plus fuel data, anchor mode and engine monitoring via an NMEA200 network in a waterproof, sunlight-readable, flush design.
Navionics provides detailed cartography for marine and lakes around the world. To enable Navionics compatibility for the 5” and 7” models, firmware V1.75 or higher, available via download from marine.lxnav.com, must be installed. Then, a Navionics+ card inserted in the user-accessible, external microSD™ slot can be used. Navionics cartography is sold at dealers worldwide and on the Navionics website. Customers who activate their Navionics+ card subscription at www.navionics.com can also utilize Dock-to-dock Autorouting1, which will create and display a suggested route on their LXNAV hardware.
