This year marks the 10th anniversary of Europe’s leading kayak fishing competition in Oxwich, a fabulous beach location on the stunning Gower Peninsula in South Wales, and promises to bigger than ever.
Run over one day, the competition attracts well in excess of 125 anglers from far and wide to compete in this species hunt, catch and release competition. Renowned for its impressive prize table and fantastic social scene, Oxwich Kayak Fishing Competition grows in popularity year on year.
Organized by the SWKA (South Wales Kayak Anglers Association), Ed Gibson, founder and chairman, says, “With the support of our long term sponsors, Raymarine and Navionics, and the addition of several new sponsors this year, Oxwich 2019 is going to be an out and out celebration of kayak fishing”.
