Navionics Pro Spotlight: Tony Puccio, Professional Walleye Angler

The very first tournament Tony Puccio ever fished was a bass tournament on Toledo Bend Reservoir in 1974. Since then he’s fished over 100 tournaments and has gained recognition as one of the top walleye pros.  He’s competed in the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail, the Pro Team Walleye Circuit, and the North American Walleye Association Circuit. In 1996, he won the Sportsman of the Year award for both PWT and NAWA, the only angler to win this award for both circuits in the same year. Puccio has qualified for 9 championships and holds four top 10 tournament finishes. When not on the water, Puccio hosts a radio show focused on the outdoors which airs every Saturday morning to twelve counties in South Central Wisconsin. He’s had articles featured in the In-Fisherman Walleye Insider magazine and various other fishing magazines throughout the Midwest. He is also a tackle designer and co-owner of Bait Rigs Tackle Company as well as owner of Serious Walleye Guide Service based in Verona, Wisconsin.
