Now, any sonar can be used to draw and HD bathymetry map in real time on your mobile! This amazing feature, SonarChart™ Live, is offered for free within the Navionics Boating app. All you need to do is connect your sonar to the Sonar Server by Digital Yacht and it will stream depth data to the Navionics app. It's that easy! The Sonar Server is an NMEA compatible Wi-Fi router that works as a bridge between your existing plotter/sonar or fishfinder and your mobile device allowing your to see new contour lines appear right before your eyes while you navigate, along with depth values. The Sonar Server was specifically developed to allow your onboard electronics to wirelessly stream depth and GPS data to the Navionics app. |
