Congratulations to Navionics Marine Specialist and Raymarine Pro Ambassador, Captain Anthony Grassi, and his striped bass fishing team, Team Fin Chasers, who were crowned the Grand Champions this past weekend at the 2017 Long Beach Island Striped Bass Grand Championship in New Jersey.
The championship is a compilation of five tournaments hosted along the Jersey Shore with up to 100 boats in the field; teams may only weigh-in their top three fish. Team Fin Chasers won this past weekend with a grand total of 111 lbs., easily beating the second-place team by 30 lbs.
Team Fin Chasers is made up of Captain Anthony Grassi, Captain Frank Wagenhoffe, Jason Little and Ian Eitner. This team has won many striped bass tournaments, but they feel this win is the most important yet. They credit their success to their new Raymarine Axiom 12 with Navionics+ Regions - East Charts.
