As part of our ongoing product enhancement efforts, we have just added 550 new lakes and updated another 21 lakes in Quebec, Canada. Just in time for ice fishing season!
The lakes released today are concentrated in the southernmost region of Quebec, north of Ottawa, Ontario, and west of Montreal. From Lac Achigan to Lac des Zouaves, the new lakes include seven Lac Vert, seven Lac à la Truite, and six Lac Long! They are all available now in Nautical Chart, along with the nearly 1,600 lakes added throughout the province in May and July of this year. With so many new lakes of all sizes, if you live in Quebec, there may be one close to you.
Updated lakes include popular fishing areas like Réservoir Baskatong, Grand Lac Nominingue, Grand Lac du Cerf and Lac Preston. These lakes offer anglers a variety of species to target, such as walleye, northern pike, lake trout, whitefish and landlocked salmon.
