Wareham, Mass. – Navionics®, the leader in electronic charting and digital navigation data, is pleased to announce its new partnership with Digital Yacht whose PC-based Navigation Software - SmarterTrack – now supports Navionics Gold and Platinum plug-and-play marine charts.

SmarterTrack is the ideal PC navigation software for navigators who have a dedicated chartplotter compatible with Navionics Gold or Platinum+ charts, or are new to electronic charting and desire a simple-to-use PC navigation software with powerful AIS support.

Planning at home, monitoring from the chart table, or as a self-contained independent backup system, SmarterTrack turns your PC into an invaluable navigation tool that displays your GPS position as well as the location of all surrounding AIS targets on Navionics accurate and highly-detailed navigation charts.

SmarterTrack is supplied with Navionics USB Multi Card Reader which allows all navigators using Navionics charts in their dedicated chart plotter, including; Raymarine C/E series, Lowrance, Furuno, Northstar, Humminbird, etc. to be used with SmarterTrack.

SmarterTrack can be used on any PC running a Windows XP/Vista/7 operating system.
