Humminbird, Lowrance, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, and Garmin now can be used to improve charts!

The evolution of SonarChart™, the award-winning HD bathymetry layer available with Navionics charts on plotter, mobile and web, is speeding up now that Navionics accepts sonar logs from a wider range of compatible plotters. Until now, only Humminbird and Garmin owners have been able to participate in this cutting edge feature which empowers individual users to easily improve the accuracy of their charts. Now, owners of Lowrance, Raymarine, Simrad, and B&G units can also upload sonar logs and take advantage of full SonarChart™ features, both upload of sonar logs and download of updated charts. This expanded compatibility creates the opportunity for more detailed SonarChart™ on any body of water!

Contributing is free and easy

Instructions for recording data is provided for most popular models, and uploading sonar log recordings to Navionics couldn’t be easier. Navionics processes and integrates your data quickly, even letting you know the results. More detail on critical areas, as well as continuous changes in sea, lake and river bottoms are now under control.
