Cartography Leader Reduces Prices 33%

Wareham, Mass. – Navionics, the leader in electronic charting and navigation data, announced today price reductions for two of its popular cartography products. Effective January 1st, 2007, pricing for Classic L Charts, used in many earlier-model chartplotters, and best selling 2006 Edition HotMaps Premium Lake Maps, will be reduced 33% from $149 to a manufacturers suggested retail price of just US$99.

“With the cost of boating on a seemingly endless rise, price reductions on our popular Navionics products should come as a refreshing change,” said Bob Moshiri, vice president of sales and marketing, Navionics. “The price of the digital media we use to distribute our charts is on a steep decline. As part of our continued commitment to delivering the most detailed and accurate charts on the market, and continuously providing new features, capabilities and added value to our customers, we have selected to pass along our savings on to them. Now more than ever, Navionics is the best solution for every boater’s cartography needs, and every boater’s cartography budget!”
