The FIS Alpine World Cup is one of the biggest events in the ski calendar, and this year marks its 50th season! The competition already started in Sölden, Austria, in October, and will conclude in St. Moritz, Switzerland on March 20, 2016.
Events take place at many top ski resorts located all over the world. Not only can you watch the action first hand by referring to this schedule, you can also use the FREE Navionics Ski app to follow along as it contains more than 2,000 resort maps worldwide, where many of the competitions are taking place. Within the app, you will see interactive maps of the ski resorts where the races are taking place. Since our app’s rich repository of information includes the names of trails, lifts, lodges, ticket offices, restaurants, bars and more, your day tracking with Navionics Ski will not only reveal statistics like speed, time, distance, vertical and elevation, but will also provide you with a record of every run and lift you took with names, distances and times spent on each!
