Accounts Receivable Associate – Temporary assignment

The Accounts Receivable Associate performs day to day processing of Account Receivables transactions to ensure that debtors accounts are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner. AR clerk ensures that receivables are collected in a timely manner and processes credit memos and refunds to customers.

Essential Functions:
• Assist in the process of Customer credit limits definition, both for new and existing Customers.
• Perform credit collection activities, including reminders to Customers and doubtful debts management.
• Assist in Sales order release process.
• Process invoices at the end of the month (“Fatturazione differita”).
• Process refund to Customers and record the transactions on the ERP.
• Monitor and manage the Accounts Receivable aging.
• Verify that transactions comply with corporate policy and procedures.
• Communicates with other departments to resolve questions and problems.

Other responsibilities:
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Education, experience and skills required:
• Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment.
• Excellent time management and follow-up skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and working experience.
• Must demonstrate a proficient working knowledge of spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel).
• Basic Knowledge of SAP (or another ERP) would represent a plus.
• Proficiency and fluency in English.
• Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
