How to Manage
a Connection Request

Want to accept a connection request but don’t know how?

Have the Boating app?
If you already have the Boating app installed on your device, just open it, and go to Menu > Connections to accept requests.

Don’t have the Boating app?
You will need to download the Boating app to your device and follow the same path as above.
The app is a free download and provides a trial period. Want to learn more about the app? Click here.

Want to See Your Connections?

All you need to do is open the Boating app on your device and go to
Menu > Connections to view the list.

Want to View a Shared
Live Location?

From the email you received:
Tap on the link from a device with the Boating app installed.
The app will open directly on the map showing the connection’s GPS position.

Directly from the app:
Go to Menu > Connections, then select the user’s profile, and click on Show on maps. To view a shared location, you will need an active subscription.

Want to view a shared track,
route or marker?

From the email you received:
Tap on the link from a device with the Boating app installed.
The app will open directly on the sender's profile, and you can select one or more shared items to save.

Directly from the app:
Go to Menu > Connections, select the user’s profile, and click on one or more shared items to save them. To save a shared item, you will need an active subscription.
