Cdr. (ret) Guglielmo Mammucari, the General Manager of Navionics Technologies announced that Navionics has signed another agreement with Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority to add GBRMPA zoning in Navionics electronic charts. Cdr. Mammucari commented “We are very pleased to complete this agreement as we seek to use all source of interest in Navionics very popular global chart products which are compatible with the world’s leading plotter manufacturers.”
By including economic and ecologically defined zones into chart data, Navionics has encouraged not only safe boating, but responsible boating that respects and protects one of the world’s most diverse natural wonders.
