If you prefer to try before you buy, Navionics Viewer is a FREE App that allows iPhone users to cruise a sample chart of Southeastern Florida and Northwest Italy and test the waters. Navionics Mobile Charts, as well as the FREE Navionics Viewer, allow you to locate your position on the map, seamlessly pan and zoom, query objects, search marinas, locate boat ramps, anchorages, wrecks, underwater structures, access tide & current data with graphic display, point-to-point distance measuring, and much more.
Navionics Mobile Charts are easily downloaded and then stored ‘onboard’ your iPhone providing fast performance, zero data transmission fees, and continued access even when you’re out of cell range. A useful tool to add to your boating safety in case your primary chart plotting device loses power, or simply to consult the maps for pre-planning your next fishing or cruising adventure while at home or on land.
