Boating app: Changes to Prices and Coverages in the Nordic Area

Due to a significant increase in the fees charged by our official suppliers of cartography data, we have unfortunately been obliged to modify our prices and coverage area boundaries for the Nordic area in the Boating App.

These changes affect the following coverages: Denmark & Greenland, Skagerrak & Kattegat, Greenland & Iceland, and Baltic Sea.

Denmark & Greenland Coverage Will Be Discontinued

On March 1, the current Denmark & Greenland coverage area will be discontinued. If you are interested in obtaining coverage for those areas, you will be able to select one or both the following alternative coverages:

• Skagerrak & Kattegat
• Greenland & Iceland

What happens if you own a Denmark & Greenland coverage?

Active Subscription: If your Denmark & Greenland coverage subscription is active, you'll still be able to download maps for the whole area and use daily updates and advanced features until your subscription expires. Essentially, nothing changes for you until you renew and select one of the two or both alternative coverages.

Expired Subscription:If your Denmark & Greenland subscription is expired, you won’t lose your maps. As with any subscription expiration, access to download daily updates and to utilize advanced features is limited until renewal. Upon renewal, you may select one or both alternative coverage.

Price Changes

On March 1, a change in prices will occur for Baltic Sea, Skagerrak & Kattegat, and Greenland & Iceland coverages.

New prices:

- Baltic Sea: £ 34.99
- Skagerrak & Kattegat: £ 74.99
- Greenland & Iceland: £ 119.99

Baltic Sea Coverage New Version

A new version of the Baltic Sea coverage will replace the existing one soon. In this new version, the data for the island of Bornholm (DK) and waters around it will be removed from this coverage to maintain a favorable price. If you are interested in the island of Bornholm, it is available as part of the Skagerrak & Kattegat coverage.

What happens if you own a Baltic Sea coverage?

Active Subscription: If your Baltic Sea coverage subscription is active, you'll still be able to download maps for the whole area and use daily updates and advanced features until your subscription has expired. Essentially, nothing changes for you until you renew and select the new Baltic Sea or the Skagerrak & Kattegat or both.

Expired Subscription: If your Baltic Sea subscription coverage is expired, you won’t lose your maps. As with any subscription expiration, access to download daily updates and to utilize advanced features is limited until renewal. Upon renewal, you may select the new Baltic Sea or the Skagerrak & Kattegat or both.
